This year, the EAIE International Conference (European Association for International Education) will take place in Toulouse. On the occasion, the CESI Toulouse campus is hosting its first Partners’ Day, a unique event to bring together CESI’s international partner universities to discuss, share good practises on international education and celebrate their ongoing partnerships.

Partners’ day CESI

CESI currently holds partnerships with over 130 universities worldwide. Most of these institutions will be represented at the EAIE International Conference in Toulouse from September the 17th to the 20th. Therefore, CESI wishes to celebrate the occasion with its partners and invite them on Monday, September the 16th to discuss, exchange good practices and share good moments together at the Toulouse campus.

Agenda

  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Welcome buffet
  • 1:00 PM: Opening speech by Stefan Seiler, Director of International Programs at CESI
  • 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM: Conference by Yves Mauffette, Professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) – « The Importance of Active Learning in Multicultural Contexts »
  • 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM: Conference by Yohan Dupuis, Research Director at CESI, and Kamaldeep-Singh Oberoi, Researcher and Professor at CESI – « International Research Project”
  • 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Conference by Aerospace Valley on welcoming international students
  • 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Closure speech by Stefan Seiler, followed by a Q&A session

The EAIE (European Association for International Education) event is a major international conference in the field of education and international cooperation. Organised this year by the University of Toulouse, the event brings together academics, researchers, policymakers, education professionals, and students from around the world to discuss on challenges and opportunities in the internationalisation of higher education.

Participants have the opportunity to attend conferences, workshops, presentations, and partake in networking sessions, covering a range of topics such as student mobility, international academic cooperation, exchange programmes management, cultural diversity, and much more.
